Introduction

In carrying out its activities, SELINUNTE SRL processes various data, both commercial and personal. This policy covers the processing of personal data by SELINUNTE SRL.


SELINUNTE SRL understands the importance of protecting personal data and the concerns of its employees, customers, suppliers and other people with whom it has contact regarding the processing of their personal data.


Various persons, in the exercise of their functions within SELINUNTE SRL, may have access to the personal data of its employees, including independent service providers and consultants, temporary employees such as temporary workers, interns, students, volunteers, former employees and other persons (clients and suppliers). Each of these persons within SELINUNTE SRL is bound by this personal data protection policy.


The applicable data protection regulations impose obligations on SELINUNTE SRL regarding how it must process data. In addition, the regulations provide rights for individuals whose data is processed.


This policy provides an overview of the general obligations that SELINUNTE SRL and its employees must comply with within the framework of data protection regulations.

Article I – Scope of Application

This policy applies to SELINUNTE SRL and all its collaborators (partners, employees, workers) who process personal data and includes the guidelines to which all data processing must comply, whether by a fully or partially automated process, and which are or will be part of a structured file.

This policy concerns all computer and communication equipment used by the User in the course of carrying out their activities for SELINUNTE SRL, regardless of their location, and in particular (non-exhaustive list):

  • PCs, servers and other computer systems,

  • laptops and tablets,

  • the email addresses made available to the User by SELINUNTE SRL

  • the phone, the smartphone

(hereinafter “Equipment”).

Article II – CONTACT POINT FOR THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The Company has designated a manager responsible for ensuring the implementation and compliance with data protection legislation and this policy.

Article III – PRINCIPLES APPLICABLE TO THE COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Data protection legislation prescribes several basic principles that all data controllers must respect in order to comply with this legislation. If you have any doubts about the application of these principles in a specific case, please do not hesitate to contact info@farinellishow.com for clarification, in accordance with the procedure described in Articles VI and VII.

Personal data must be processed in compliance with various basic principles and the conditions that result from them: LAWFULNESS, FAIRNESS, TRANSPARENCY, CONFIDENTIALITY AND INTEGRITY.
When you visit our Site, you remain anonymous. The information collected during your navigation is used to analyze your behavior on this Site and your use of it in order to improve your user experience.

Other Data that we collect, such as your first name, last name, postal address, telephone number or email address, are only collected if you agree to provide them to us, for example when you fill out the contact form.

SELINUNTE SRL also undertakes to collect only the information strictly necessary to process your request.

Article IV – TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

In some cases, SELINUNTE SRL may transfer your personal data to third-party beneficiaries, both within and outside SELINUNTE SRL. In all cases, personal data is transferred exclusively to these beneficiaries, who process it for specific purposes. During the transfer, SELINUNTE SRL systematically adopts the necessary security measures, particularly with regard to the beneficiaries, to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of personal data.

TRANSFER TO COLLABORATORS

SELINUNTE SRL may request a third party, a subcontractor, to process personal data exclusively on behalf of SELINUNTE SRL and on its instructions. The subcontractor may not process this data for its own purposes unrelated to the purposes for which SELINUNTE SRL uses the subcontractor.

SELINUNTE SRL may use subcontractors and only provides them with personal data upon conclusion of a subcontracting contract or agreement and/or an annex guaranteeing the processing of personal data in accordance with the legislation.

SELINUNTE SRL will take the necessary measures if it finds that its employees are not complying with their obligations under the contract.

TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES – OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

Your data will not be transferred to third countries, unless SELINUNTE SRL is required to do so by peremptory legal provisions or if it was your own decision.

Article V – DURATION OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

SELINUNTE SRL will not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected. At the end of the final retention period, SELINUNTE SRL will delete or anonymize the personal data. SELINUNTE SRL will anonymize the data if it still wishes to use it for statistical purposes. SELINUNTE SRL may retain personal data for a longer period for dispute management, research, or archiving purposes.

Article VI – RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Data protection legislation provides data subjects with various rights relating to the processing of personal data, so that data subjects can continue to exercise sufficient control over the processing of their personal data.

RIGHT OF ACCESS

The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation from SELINUNTE SRL as to whether their personal data are being processed. If this is the case, the data subject may request access to their data.

SELINUNTE SRL will inform the data subject of the following:

  • the purposes of the processing;

  • the categories of personal data concerned;

  • the recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data;

  • transfer to recipients established in third countries or international organisations;

  • if possible, the envisaged retention period for which the personal data will be stored or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;

  • the right for the data subject to request from SELINUNTE SRL the correction or erasure of personal data, or a limitation of the processing of his or her personal data, or the right to object to such processing;

  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;

  • where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information as to their source;

  • the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and meaningful information about the logic involved in such decision-making, as well as the significance and foreseeable consequences of such processing for the data subject.

SELINUNTE SRL will also provide a copy of the personal data processed upon request from the data subject and free of charge. If the data subject requests additional copies, SELINUNTE SRL may request reimbursement of reasonable costs.

RIGHT OF RECTIFICATION

If the data subject finds that SELINUNTE SRL holds inaccurate or incomplete data concerning him/her, he/she has the right at any time to notify SELINUNTE SRL so that the latter can take the necessary steps to correct or complete this data.

It is the responsibility of the data subject to provide SELINUNTE SRL with correct personal data.

RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN

The data subject may request the erasure of his or her personal data if the processing does not comply with data protection legislation and within the limits of the Law (art. 17 GDPR).

RIGHT TO RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING

The data subject may request the limitation of processing if:

  • The accuracy of the personal data is called into question and for the period necessary to verify their accuracy;

  • The processing is unlawful and the data subject does not wish the data to be erased;

  • SELINUNTE SRL no longer needs the data, but the data subject requests that they not be deleted, as they need them for the exercise or justification of legal action;

  • A complaint is lodged against the processing pending the explanation of the legitimate interests which override the interests of the data subject.

RIGHT TO PORTABILITY

Data subjects have the right to receive the personal data concerning them, which they have provided to SELINUNTE SRL, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. The data subject has the right to transmit this personal data directly from SELINUNTE SRL to another controller. This is possible if the processing is based on the data subject's consent and on processing by automated means.

RIGHT OF OPPOSITION

When personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes (including profiling), the data subject may always object to the processing.

The data subject may also object to the processing of a specific situation concerning him or her. SELINUNTE SRL will then cease the processing, unless it demonstrates that there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, which override the interests of the data subject, or which relate to the exercise or justification of a legal action.

RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT

If you have given your consent to SELINUNTE SRL for a specific processing purpose, you can withdraw this consent at any time by sending an email.

Article VII – PROCEDURE FOR THE EXERCISE OF RIGHTS AND OTHER PROVISIONS

The data subject may exercise his or her rights by sending an e-mail to info@farinellishow.com. SELINUNTE SRL may ask the data subject to identify himself or herself in order to ensure that the effective exercise of the rights requested by the data subject is carried out.

In principle, SELINUNTE SRL will respond to the data subject's request within one month. Failing this, SELINUNTE SRL will inform the data subject of the reasons for its inaction or delay in responding to the request. SELINUNTE SRL will make every effort to inform the recipients of the data subject's personal data that the data subject is exercising their right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing.

Article VIII – COMPLAINT

The person concerned also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority ( www.autoriteprotectiondonnées.be )

Article IX – RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PERSON CONCERNED

SELINUNTE SRL expects its employees to respect this policy and to ensure that it is respected by those for whom they are responsible.

Employees must therefore:

  • Process personal data of colleagues, clients, etc. regularly and appropriately, in accordance with applicable legislation, the employer's instructions and the SELINUNTE SRL privacy policy, while ensuring its integrity and confidentiality;

  • If in doubt about the application of this policy or compliance with data protection regulations in the exercise of their duties, seek advice from their superior, the data protection officer;

  • Process personal data only if necessary in the performance of their duties and/or on instructions from SELINUNTE SRL;

  • Assist the Data Protection Officer;

  • Do not keep copies of personal data on the office computer or on personal media if SELINUNTE SRL has a centralized and secure storage location, as saving personal files or copies may cause errors in personal data and increased risks of infringements;

  • Immediately inform the Data Protection Officer if they become aware of a potential or actual breach of personal data or data protection legislation.

Article X – AUDIT AND REVIEW

SELINUNTE SRL reserves the right to adapt and revise this policy when it deems necessary and to continue to comply with legal requirements and/or the recommendations of the competent supervisory authority in matters of data protection.

If SELINUNTE SRL is unable to comply with this policy due to mandatory legal provisions imposed on it, it shall inform the data protection officer.

Article XI – COOKIES

The SELINUNTE SRL website uses cookies. These are small files that are placed on the User's computer, mobile phone, or tablet when they visit the website.
